Born and raised in West Virginia, Lydia graduated from St. Marys High School in
St. Marys, WV and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science
from Alderson Broaddus College in Philippi, WV. Her real estate
education was obtained through Hondros College in Columbus and Cleveland, Ohio. Lydia is also a
Certified Microsoft Master Instructor and handles all
technological aspects of Cranston Real Estate including our DSL service, 360 Virtual Tour programs, Web Site and network systems. She provides in-house trainings
for all salespersons as well as one-on-one computer support.
In 2004 Lydia purchased Cranston Real Estate from the
founder, Harold Cranston, and became the Broker/Owner of the company.
She is a member of the National Association of Realtors,
Ohio Association of Realtors, REBAC, SAREC, CRS, CRB, and the Marietta Board of Realtors®.
She is also active in community organizations and causes such as the
Marietta Chamber of Commerce, Marietta Memorial Home Nursing and Hospice, Muskingum
Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Marietta AARP Livable Communities
committee.
Lydia is a designated Internet Professional through the
National Association of Realtors with the e-Pro designation. She also
has achieved the SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) designation and has
special training and certification to serve her customers age 55 and older.
In addition, Lydia is also an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) and an
Accredited Buyer Representative Manager (ABRM®).
This
designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. This
coveted designation is awarded to real estate practitioners by the Real
Estate BUYER'S AGENT Council (REBAC) of the National Association of
REALTORS® who meet the specified educational and practical experience
criteria. She is currently completing her CRS and CRB training as
well.
Lydia continues teaching and public speaking as a Real
Estate Instructor.
She resides in Marietta with her husband, Robert and
daughters, Elena and Carmen. Her personal interests include spending time
with her family, ATV riding, surfing the net, playing the piano, involvement
with church/community organizations, taking walks and reading.
